Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger Park
Depart Johannesburg on a scheduled flight to an airport near or in Kruger Park. Your driver will be waiting to take you to your classic Kruger Park safari lodge. You will have a chance to familiarize yourself with the safari lodge before high tea is served.
Then it is time for your first afternoon game drive which will also double as a night drive. Expect excellent game viewing and keep your camera on binoculars ready for frequent wildlife sightings including the Big Five as well as a variety of other mammals, reptiles and birds.
Day 2: Safari in Kruger National Park
The day will start very early with a knock on your door for tea or coffee and the morning game drive with your highly qualified guide in an open safari vehicle. After brunch you have the afternoon at leisure - the lodge has an open plain as frontage to a great view of the bush and you can just sit back and relax. Enjoy superb game viewing from your accommodation or go on an afternoon drive, which is the highlight of this Kruger Park Safari experience.
Enjoy sundowner drinks and the most beautiful African sunset. An al fresco dinner will be ready upon your return to the lodge where you can enjoy a traditional South African meal under the stars. Private dinners can also be arranged in advance for that special romantic getaway with your loved one.
Day 3: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
Your traditional safari experience package ends today with a last morning game drive to try and spot those animals you have missed so far. After your last game drive, pack your bags and enjoy one last delicious and filling brunch before being transferred back to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.
