Our 4-day Kruger Hotel Safari with Panorama Route Tour if you want to stay in a hotel-type setting but don't want to worry about the cooking. Embark on guided game drives and tours, allowing for a relaxing, yet exciting, experience in the iconic destination that is Kruger Park. This experience has all the benefits of a Kruger safari but without the added burden of having to self-drive.
There is nothing as exciting as exploring the legendary Kruger National Park, as this iconic destination provides the ultimate African safari experience with free-roaming wildlife. A sunset safari, full day game drive and a tour of the scenic Panorama Route with an experienced guide is included, to allow for added value to your Kruger Park safari vacation. Another major attraction of this original safari package is that the catering is left up to the hotel and there is no pressure to prepare your own meals.
From Johannesburg, you’ll be well on your way to Kruger in under an hour on a scheduled flight. A private road transfer takes you to your home away from home for the next 3 nights. Your Kruger Park hotel is located along the Sabie River and provides all the comforts of home within just 100 meters from the Paul Kruger Gate of the Kruger National Park. With the incredible African wildlife of Kruger National Park at your doorstep, you have plenty to explore during your stay.
Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the Panorama Route. Your guide will pick you up just after breakfast where your scenic journey starts. Take a slow drive around the rugged countryside and stop at various scenic viewpoints such as God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
Discover breathtaking views, naturally sculpted canyons, plunging waterfalls, eagles soaring in the sky above and unspoiled mountains along this reach-for-your-camera route. Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls and Mac Mac Falls are just a short drive away, as are scenic landmarks such as Wonder View, the Pinnacle, Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and God’s Window. Walk in the thick, indigenous mist forest that stands amongst the clouds some 800m above Blyde River Canyon.
After breakfast, you will be collected in a custom-built open safari vehicle and embark on a guided full-day safari in the Kruger National Park. The open sides of the safari vehicle afford you optimal views for Big Five game viewing and the soft roof provides shade and cover should it rain. Keep your camera ready and be on the lookout for a pride of lions, majestic herds of elephants or a solitary leopard laying in a shady tree. Other common sightings include herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffes as well as a multitude of other wild animals and birds, like hornbills, eagles, hippo and an abundance of buck, like impala and kudus.
Your safari guide will be qualified and have years of experience in the Kruger National Park. They love nothing more than to share their well of knowledge and to make sure that you have the best Kruger safari experience possible. You will stop at picnic spots and rest camps throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and restroom breaks. There will be other guests on this safari but if you prefer, a private full day safari can be organized.
Today marks your last day of your Kruger Hotel Safari with Panorama Route Tour, but you will definitely have the opportunity to really make the most of it. There is just enough time to head to buy some last minute souvenirs and take in the stunning views.
A private road transfer is followed by a scheduled flight back to Johannesburg. You could even extend your trip to spend some time in Cape Town. Our African Safari Specialists can customize your safari to suit your needs and budget.
