Several of Kruger's scientific services staff now have new letters to add behind their names. Social ecologist Kelly Scheepers was awarded her PhD degree at Rhodes University, while Izak Smit from the geographical information systems section was awarded his PhD degree recently through Oxford University. Alien plant specialist Llewellyn Foxcroft received his PhD degree through the University of Cape Town.
"We would like to congratulate our three new doctors on this outstanding achievement," says Danie Pienaar, head of scientific services in the Kruger National Park. "We also wish to congratulate Ernest Daemane who fulfilled the requirements for his MSc degree through Potchefstroom University."
