In spite of heavy rains in the Kruger National Park over the weekend of March 3 to 5, most gates and camps were accessible. The only exception was Crocodile Bridge which remained closed.
Paul Kruger Gate was closed for about an hour during the morning of Friday, March 3, but was opened and operational for the rest of weekend. Guests were advised to enquire at their gate of entry which gravel roads were accessible.
The low level bridges at Skukuza rest camp and to the personnel village were also flooded on the Friday morning.
