Hannes' beautiful bride Dannielle Sharman came to South Africa a week ago to meet his parents at Matumi, owners Theodore and Elsie Rosslee. Hannes happened to have business with his solicitor AB Burger and discovered that South Africa does not have a 30 day registering time for a marriage. He decided to not only propose to Danielle but to invite her to marry in South Africa the following Saturday! Danielle's shocked parents (Bruce and Margaret also visiting) permitted Danielle the freedom to make up her own mind.
"Evidently the romantic South African air worked its magic and in 24 hours Danielle made up her mind," says Bruce. All the details were accomplished in less than a week. Since Danielle's father is a Pastor in Red Cliffs Victoria Australia, he was able to conduct the ceremony ably assisted by Pastor Leon Erasmus. The couple are now honeymooning in Kruger and beyond.
