The focus is primarily on walking safaris, and you are advised to pack comfortable walking shoes. After a quick cup of tea or coffee in the morning you will head out into the bush with an armed ranger, having exciting encounters with wildlife including anything from antelope to prides of Lion and Rhinos.
Walking safaris at Plains Camp are also the perfect opportunity to focus on smaller creatures such as bird, reptile and insects. The average morning walk takes 3-5 hours (totaling 5-12 km)
Return to Plains Camp for a midday siesta and relax with a book from the library and watch to see what animals come for a drink at the waterhole – perhaps, Giraffe, Zebra or Buffalo. Take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and relax before continuing your adventures.
In the late afternoon you will head out on a game drive in search for wild game. There will be time for sundowners, before returning to camp for a sumptuous safari inspired dinner. Sharing a common boundary with famous Mala Mala Game reserve for 14km (8.7 miles) is a sure indication that you will see an abundance of game on their Kruger Park safari and suggested itineraries.
