Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge offers authentic Kruger Park safari lodging in suites which are built in the traditional round style and have tapering thatched roofs. The rooms are furnished with king-sized beds and have en-suite bathrooms with deep Victorian style baths and an outdoor shower. For a true cultural experience while staying at the lodge, you can choose to sleep on a traditional reed mat.
Guests are hosted in traditional Tsonga style with staff wearing authentic dress, within keeping of the concept of a bygone era.
At this Kruger Park safari accommodation you can experience the atmosphere of a real Tsonga village - with pan-African dining under the stars, followed by a session of storytelling and music in the boma area.
Where the Wildlife Finds You
During the day you can enjoy spectacular game viewing in the area and sightings of Elephant are guaranteed as the lodge is situated on an ancient Elephant route. Big cats such as Leopard and Lion are also commonly seen.
The lodge serves Pan African style cuisine and can arrange an evening of traditional foods. Breakfast, lunch and high tea are served during the day followed by a 3-course dinner served outside under the stars.
The Traditional Village has a congenial atmosphere with a comfortable lounge offering tea and coffee. There is also a fully licensed bar at the lodge.
