Balule Camp provides rustic rudimentary conditions for visitors looking for the authentic bushveld experience, when they seek Kruger National Park lodging.
Balule Camp is divided in two, separated by a fence at Balule's Kruger National Park accommodation. One section has 6 three-bedded budget Huts and communal bathroom and kitchen facilities. Paraffin lamps provide lighting for your Kruger National Park budget accommodation. Each hut is provided with linen and towels. The huts have no windows - only vents, so this is really accommodation suited for the more budget minded adventure traveler. There are no cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery available in the huts but the camp has a communal kitchen with scullery and gas stove. Limited space is available in the communal freezer.
The other half of Balule camp offers 15 camping sites for tents and caravans. A large grove of Natal Mahogany, Baobab and Sausage trees provides a welcome shade from the sun, while you are resting at your Kruger National Park accommodation.
Facilities such as a shop, restaurant and fuel station are available at Olifants camp, 11km (6.8 miles) to the north.
